Info + General Terms and Conditions of Hotel Staatsman
1. Reservations and payments 1.1. A reservation will be confirmed upon receipt of a valid proof of payment or credit card guarantee. 1.2. Payment for the stay must be made in full upon arrival, unless otherwise agreed. 1.3. Cancellation policy: If cancelled within 48 hours in advance, 100% of the total amount will be charged. 1.4. Any deposits will be collected in advance and refunded within 14 days after check-out, provided that no damage or additional costs have been incurred.
2. Check-in and check-out 2.1. Check-in is possible from 15:00 on the day of arrival; check-out must be done before 11:00 on the day of departure. 2.2. Early check-in or late check-out is possible on request and subject to availability. Additional costs may apply. 2.3. Please note: From Sunday evening to Wednesday morning, there is no night reception between 23:00 and 07:00. Guests arriving or departing outside these hours must report this in advance so that alternative arrangements can be made. During the weekend, from Thursday evening 23:00 to Sunday morning 07:00, there is a night reception.
3. Guest behaviour and responsibilities 3.1. Guests must adhere to the hotel's house rules. 3.2. Excessive noise, disruptive behaviour or damage to property is not permitted. The hotel reserves the right to remove guests who do not adhere to these rules without refund. 3.3. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by them or their fellow travellers and will be held liable for this. Any additional costs will be charged for this.
4. Accessibility 4.1 Hotel Staatsman strives to make its facilities accessible to all guests, including people with disabilities. 4.2. Wheelchair accessible rooms and public areas are available. These must be booked in advance so that we can make the appropriate preparations. 4.3. Our staff is available to provide assistance where necessary. Please let us know of any specific needs you may have when making your reservation.
5. Use of facilities 5.1. The hotel is not liable for any loss or damage to guests' personal belongings while using our hotel's facilities.
6. Liability of the hotel 6.1. The hotel is not liable for any loss, theft or damage to guests' personal belongings unless such damage is directly attributable to the hotel's negligence. 6.2. In the event of force majeure (such as natural disasters, pandemics or other unforeseen circumstances), the hotel reserves the right to change or cancel reservations without liability for damages.
7. Privacy and data protection 7.1. The hotel collects and processes personal data of guests exclusively in accordance with the applicable privacy legislation. 7.2. Personal data will only be used for purposes directly related to the stay, unless otherwise agreed.
8. Pets and smoking 8.1. Pets are not allowed. 8.2. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the entire hotel, except in the designated areas. In the event of violation, a cleaning fee of at least €100 will be charged.
9. Applicable law 9.1. These conditions are governed by Dutch law. 9.2. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
